Dries Van Noten

This Belgian designer's ready-to-wear collection really struck a cord with me because I'm always looking for style and function. Dries Van Noten's pieces are polished yet eccentric. The collection is sleek and the men's bags are so great, I would get one for myself. Check out some other gorgeous pieces here. The shoes are absolutely darling and they look comfortable. How sexy are the ones adorned with pearls (far left corner)? They're available for purchase here and here

More bright little things...

I have been quite the busy little bee, so I've neglected shopping and blogging... I know, I know, what a crime... However—and not to come across as repetitive—I'm just ecstatic over this summer's new colors... Everything is daringly bold, and darling, I can't get enough of it... Orange and yellow are everywhere. Like this lovely Kate Spade purse in tangerine, or the more affordable Eliza purse from Bakers... love, love, love it.... Or the pink sandals by YSL... rrrowl... Check out topshop's version here. Multi colored shoes: Bakers... Aqua purse: Juicy Couture

Pay Less for Chic

If you've never considered buying shoes at Payless, consider it now. So many designers are putting out collections for stores you have access to. Target started the trend and the rest followed. I personally can't wait to get my hands on these beige Abaeté gladiator sandals (see below) from Payless. They are fabulous and they are cheap. For $38, they're yours, and you can buy three more pairs without feeling completely guilty. Shop Abaeté styles here and Lela Rose here

Timeless Tahari

Elie Tahari has always been one of those classic brands that you want to have in your closet. Even though my Tahari collection consists of pieces found on closeout sales, or through online specials, I adore every one of them. I covet more, but it's a budgeting thing :)... Elie Tahari is great to have in your work wardrobe. The lines are classic and well-constructed. My sand colored jacket goes with me everywhere. It completes any outfit and it's a nice neutral. Check out the Fall 2009 collection.

Jessica Simpson - accessories queen

While I have to say, I never particularly cared for her singing talent (sweet girl, just not my kind of music), I am quite the fan of her accessories line. My latest purchase are the snake print slingbacks with a slight toe opening. They are lovely work shoes, and they give an edge to just about any outfit. Oh, and they're quite comfortable. Check out Jessica Simpson's collection. Also shop at Macy's and Amazon.com
